We start with high-quality, certified organic beans sourced from trusted cooperatives in Peru or Honduras, depending on seasonal availability. These coffees are selected for their unique flavor profiles, ensuring they stand out as fabulous decaffeinated offerings.
At the Descamex Mountain Water Decaffeination Plant in Veracruz, Mexico, caffeine is gently removed using pure water, steam, and carbon filtration - never chemicals. The result is a clean, chemical-free process that preserves the natural sweetness and character of the coffee.
Sourced from either Peru or Honduras depending on seasonal availability, our decaf coffee travels to the Descamex Mountain Water Decaffeination plant in Veracruz, Mexico. Instead of chemicals, this plant uses steam and carbon filtration to remove the caffeine.
